Comenius Day

Comenius Day - meeting with students, teachers, parents, guests from other schools, local community, educational department etc. Students report and show presentations about Comenius project results, they organize exhibition with the results and materials created during the project.

Comenius Dream Ship

Comenius Dream Ship - each partner school makes a ship in their school and makes a story about the best and more interesting activities in the project, they use photos and drawings and decorate a ship. 

The students also try to show their feelings. When students make a ship they take also photos. 

After that work the students create a photostory about Comenius dream ship.

Message in a bottle

Activity: "Message in a bottle" - students change the lyrics and write about something they would like to change or improve in their countries.

"Message in a Bottle" is a song by English rock band The Police. It was released as the lead single from their second studio album, Reggatta de Blanc(1979). Written by the band's lead singer and bassist Sting. 

The song is ostensibly about a story of a castaway on an island, who sends out a message in a bottle to seek love. A year later, he has not received any sort of response, and despairs, thinking he is destined to be alone. The next day, he sees "a hundred billion bottles" on the shore, finding out that there are more people like him out there.

Rain water monitoring - Latvia

Conclusions

·        From the 21 days, where we were monitoring and measuring the rain water, it was raining eight days. Rainy days were 38%  of the total interest amount.

·        The total number of rainfall is 248.2 ml.

·        20^th of October was the day where there was the most ml of the rainfall.

·        ph level.

o   In chemistry, pH (/piː eɪtʃ/ or /piː heɪtʃ/) is a measure of the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline. Pure water has a pH very close to 7. (info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PH )

o   In Latvia mostly on the rainy days, the ph level was 5. It means it was acid.

·        Most of the days there was North wind. In other days there was the East, West and North wind.
